[Hainan Adjusts 2025 Auto Replacement Subsidy Policy, Adds "New Vehicle Registration Location" Condition]The Hainan Provincial Department of Commerce issued an announcement on August 23, adjusting the 2025 Hainan auto replacement subsidy policy. Effective August 25, 2025, an additional condition is added to the "2025 Hainan Auto Replacement Subsidy Implementation Rules": for individual consumers who purchase a new vehicle on or after August 25, 2025 (based on the invoice date indicated on the "Uniform Invoice for Motor Vehicle Sales"), the new vehicle must be registered and licensed in Hainan Province; during the subsidy application review period, the new vehicle must be registered under the applicant’s name. The relevant subsidy standards, application procedures, and other requirements remain in accordance with the "2025 Hainan Auto Replacement Subsidy Implementation Rules."

[CSC: 6F Expected to Be the First Lithium Battery Material Segment with a Supply-Demand Reversal]CSC research report stated that the supply-demand ratio for the 6F segment is expected to be 122% in Q3 2025 and 102% in Q4 2025, and 105% in Q3 2026 and 93% in Q4 2026. Starting from Q4 2025, 6F will enter a state of tight balance, and by Q4 2026, it will face a shortage of around 7,000 mt. 6F is expected to be the first lithium battery material segment to see a supply-demand reversal and already has a certain basis for price increases. CSC expects that in Q4 2025, the 6F processing fee may see an initial increase of around 2,000 yuan/mt, and by mid-2026, as the supply-demand relationship tightens further, the processing fee is expected to rise by another 5,000–20,000 yuan/mt, bringing significant earnings flexibility.
